Preoperative Preparation

  • Consultation with trichoscopy (microscopic analysis of the scalp)
  • Blood tests: iron, ferritin, thyroid, hormones if indicated

How the Procedure Is Performed

Treatment is personalized according to the stage of alopecia and the patient's goals. For early stages, we offer medical treatments (Minoxidil, Finasteride as indicated) combined with regenerative medicine: PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) injects your own growth factors to stimulate follicles, and mesotherapy provides vitamins and nutrients. For advanced stages or areas of hair loss, the DHI/FUE Sapphire hair transplant can permanently restore density. These approaches can be combined for optimal results.

Postoperative Follow-up and Recovery

  • PRP/Mesotherapy: immediate return to activities, slight redness for 24 hours. Hair transplant: see specific information sheet on hair transplants. Medical treatments are administered daily at home. PRP results are visible after 3-4 sessions (1 session/month). Final transplant results are visible in 12-18 months.

Expected Results

Effectiveness depends on the chosen treatment and the stage of alopecia. PRP can increase density by 20 to 30% in thinning areas. Medical treatments stabilize hair loss in 80% of cases.
