How the Procedure Is Performed

The implant pocket is created submuscularly or subglandularly using an atraumatic technique. The Motiva implant is inserted using techniques that minimize contact to preserve sterility. The incision is closed with absorbable cosmetic sutures to ensure discreet scarring. The average procedure lasts approximately 90 minutes.
