Procedure of the Intervention
The procedure lasts 2 to 3 hours under general anesthesia. The surgeon accesses the deep tissues through incisions placed in front of the ear and sometimes inside the mouth. The technique involves lifting the cheek fat pad (SOOF) and tightening the tissues upwards and outwards. Lipofilling may be performed in conjunction with the procedure to restore lost volume.
Post-operative monitoring and recovery
Swelling and bruising for 10 to 14 days. 10 days of social downtime. Normal feeling of tightness for the first few days. Visible results after 3 weeks, final results after 3 months.
