Lip Lift
A lip lift is a surgical procedure that shortens the distance between the nose and the upper lip (philtrum) to create a fuller, more youthful mouth. This technique enhances the vermilion border of the upper lip and rebalances the proportions of the lower face. At Nobel Clinic Istanbul, we perform this procedure with a scar concealed within the crease of the nostril.

Procedure of the Intervention
The procedure lasts approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour under local anesthesia. The surgeon makes a bullhorn-shaped incision at the base of the nose, in the nostril crease. A strip of skin is removed, shortening the philtrum and lifting the upper lip. The vermilion border becomes more visible, and the lip appears fuller. The incision is closed with very fine sutures.
Post-operative monitoring and recovery
Lip swelling for 7 to 10 days. Pink scar for the first few months, fading to become almost invisible as it is hidden in the crease of the nostril. Stitches removed after 5-7 days. Resumption of activities after 5 days. Final result at 3 months.
