Procedure of the Intervention
Upper blepharoplasty involves removing excess skin and sometimes fat through an incision placed in the natural crease of the eyelid, which is invisible once healed. Lower blepharoplasty treats under-eye bags either through a skin incision (under the eyelashes) or a transconjunctival approach (no visible scar, incision inside the eyelid). Fat is repositioned or removed as needed.
Post-operative monitoring and recovery
Swelling and bruising for 7 to 10 days. Apply cold compresses for the first few days. Stitches removed after 5-7 days (very fine, almost invisible). Resumption of activities after 7 days. Makeup possible after 10 days. Invisible scars in the eyelid crease.
