Procedure of the Intervention
The procedure begins with general anesthesia administered by a qualified anesthesiologist. A strategic incision is made under the breast, around the areola, or under the armpit, depending on the individual's anatomy. The implant pocket is created submuscularly or subglandularly using an atraumatic technique. The Motiva implant is inserted using techniques that minimize contact to preserve sterility. The incision is closed with absorbable cosmetic sutures to ensure discreet scarring. The average procedure lasts approximately 90 minutes.
Post-operative monitoring and recovery
Clinical monitoring for the first 24 hours. Wearing a medical compression bra for approximately 6 weeks. Pain management with appropriate medication. Regular follow-up appointments during the first month. Gradual resumption of light activities after a few days. Avoid strenuous physical activity for 4 to 6 weeks.
Recovery is gradual. Slight swelling and a feeling of tightness are normal in the first few days and will decrease over time. Following medical recommendations will optimize healing and achieve a stable and natural result.
