How the Procedure Is Performed

   Under general anesthesia, the surgeon first performs VASER liposuction to refine the waist and abdomen.

   Vaser technology

   VASER technology uses ultrasound waves to specifically target fat cells while preserving surrounding tissue.

   Abdominoplasty and muscle plication

   Next, the abdominoplasty is performed: tissue detachment, plication of the rectus abdominis muscles (a permanent internal corset), and removal of excess skin.

   Closure with absorbable sutures

   The incision is closed with absorbable sutures and intradermal closure techniques.

Postoperative Follow-up and Recovery

   You can gradually resume sports activities after 4 weeks, and intense activities after 6 to 8 weeks.

Indicative timelines: every recovery is specific to the patient and follows the surgeon's instructions.

Expected Results

Results are visible after 3 months, with complete and permanent stabilization at 6 months. Skin retraction using VASER provides a natural and harmonious result. The scar is fine and concealed within underwear.

Add skin tightening

An abdominoplasty removes excess skin from the abdomen. In the areas treated by liposuction alone — flanks, love handles, back — the skin is not excised and may remain lax. J-Plasma / Renuvion can tighten it during the same procedure. Suitability is decided at consultation: beyond a certain degree of laxity, a surgical lift remains the only appropriate answer, and we will tell you so.
