Preoperative Preparation

Procedure of the Intervention
The follicles are extracted from the donor area (occiput of the scalp) using sapphire micro-punch. The selected grafts ideally contain 1 to 2 hairs for a natural beard appearance. Implantation is performed with the Choi Stylo (DHI), which allows for precise control of the angle (25 to 35 degrees, the natural beard angle), depth, and direction of each follicle. No channels are created beforehand; the implantation is direct for maximum density.
Post-operative monitoring and recovery
Redness and small scabs around the grafts will appear for 7 to 10 days. Sleep with your head elevated for 3 days. Do not touch the transplanted area for 1 week. Perform the first gentle wash after 3 days. The scabs will fall off naturally around day 10. A shock loss phase (shedding of the transplanted hairs) will occur between the 2nd and 4th weeks; this is normal. Visible regrowth will begin around the 3rd month. Results will be visible at 6-9 months, and final at 12 months.
